Apr. 9th, 2013 09:30 amIt is so depressing when the kids go home after their vacations. Wouldn't be so bad if they were off at that Hogwarts school here (horrible name, that). But then I just guess I'm a sentimental old uncle now.
Maybe I'll just kidnap them for a weekend.

Sorry folks! We're not going to arrest your parent/sibling/best friend/who the hell ever because they dosed you with the fucking potion. All they will get is a fine unless they're stupid enough to do a mass dosing like at Gringotts, and then they'll spend some time in Azkaban. So please, stop yelling at every law enforcement officer you come across. Or, better yet, take it to the Hitwizards who deal with the menial labor. I am an Auror, for fuck sake.
In other news, and vastly more important, I'm an uncle again. My almost forty year old sister has decided that two kids are not enough and has popped out another one. At least now I have a nephew to teach how to throw a football properly.
Oh yes, the exciting life of an Auror. What I wouldn't give for a real case. What do you say, Nev? Want to go bug the big boss man for an exciting case? 80:40 odds he'll give us the crappiest assignment instead for asking.
